Orange Reflection: Homecoming 2013

 
America's Brightest Orange takes over the Oklahoma State University campus Thursday through Saturday of Homecoming. Each residence hall is bathed in orange with a specific theme. The Homecoming Royalty serve as judges for the Orange Reflection competition judging each hall. All-Night Pomp: Homecoming 2013

 
Walkaround doesn't happen without house decorations, and house decorations don't happen without All-Night Pomp. From 3 p.m. Thursday until 3 p.m. Friday is a blur of tissue paper, glue, zip ties and steel as the the Greek pairs rush to finish their structures and hang their pomps in time for judging. Homecoming 2012: 'The Life, The Legend, The Legacy' continued the tradition of dyeing the Edmon Low Library fountain orange the Sunday before Homecoming Week. Harvest Carnival: Homecoming 2012

 
"America's Greatest Homecoming Celebration" is rooted in the Harvest Carnival, which began in 1913. This year's event combined with the Chili Cook-Off welcomed hundreds from the Stillwater and OSU communities for great food and games in the spirit of giving to the Harvest II food drive.
